The Mamiya NC1000s was my buddy during college. I’ve spent countless hours and days taking picture of interesting subjects.
There’s always a first time, and for cameras, it was a Mamiya NC1000s that sparked my passion for photography.
I’m documenting my growing collection of 35mm film cameras, mostly from 1960–1980. I collect working pieces with historical value or unique quirks.
I tested my Olympus OM-2N with a flash at a dinner, but struggled with focus and weight. Comparing ergonomics across cameras, I concluded that small SLRs under 700g without grips are fine, but heavier models need better grips to be comfortable.
